How wind turbines work

A mini wind generator interactive exhibit.  Users can experiment with different wind turbine blade configurations.  A push button operated fan and amp meter enable them to test the impact of varying the number and angle of blades - so which is best 3, 4 or 6? wind exhibit in use

The 'how wind turbines work' interactive has been created thanks to the support of the Institute of Physics Institute of Physics Logo .

Wind Charger Kit

A small 'Rutland 503' wind charger, complete with 4 metre mast kit and guy lines, along with associated cable, charge controller and battery.

The battery and controllers are pre-wired and fitted in a battery box.  Simply mount the wind generator, connect it to the battery box and you have a demonstration of wind power in action (weather permitting!).  The 100 Amp Hour battery is supplied charged and the battery box includes a 12 volt lighter type sockets to power suitable 12 volt equipment.
